What is a Kurosol?

Kurosol soil are soil with strong texture contrast between the A and B horizon, the the B horizon being strongly acidic. These soils occur along the coast regions of; Northern Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales, and Southern Queensland. These soils are also colloquial known as acidic duplex soils.
